If love stories are the straight lines we find in life, then we know we've found ours. If love is the straight lines, then we know we've found the clarity in the water coloring our family is painting; in the reflection looking back at us in the glass of the frame around it. But we met in the autumn of 2013, and our love waited.
Waited within small moments, wandering the sounds of big city lights and small city lights, between breaths, on bridges over pointless train tracks. Where the rest of life found the rocks we found pebbles to pound into pigments, carried by water and staining our pages.
If love is the straight lines, then it would stand to reason that life is the rest of the messy things else; that happen in the act of the painting of the picture; it is the everything else. The water grabs these pulverized stones, no matter what it was that crushed them, waiting, until the clarity of a moment that brings together the straight lines and what these pigments are willing to show.
In 2017 a light enters. And we can all agree if love is the straight lines and life is the messy everything else, then children are the light. Laine Emily Repko entered the world and subsequently ours and subsequently the straight lines revealed themselves and Ian and Laine learned they were incredibly lucky. Christa became "Cece" and the reflection in the frame looked a lot more like the picture in it.
Since then, these crumbled rocks have built a home and the water still grabs us all at different times as it runs through it. Dinners by the fire and bedtime stories by the moonlight have had us painting more and more.
Now this year we welcome another light to our life, Wesley Reed Repko, and the story we’re telling get’s a bit more color. There’s more sound, but less noise, as the view from our home grows this canvas as wide as our wishes.
So we invite you to join us at our wedding in painting this picture, not just view it. At our house with the red door, with the paper and the pigments and the water that runs through it.

What is the RSVP deadline?
October 1, 2021. Click the button in the menu to RSVP.
Is there parking at the venue?
No, the venue is our backyard. There is parking at Upper Salford Park located at 559 Salford Station Rd., Schwenksville, PA 19473. It’s a straight shot and quick ten-minute or half-mile walk to our house along the trail for the wedding ceremony and reception. If walking presents difficulties for you or anyone in your party, please let us know and we’ll arrange special accommodations.
Is there a dress code?
Cocktail attire—dresses and suits! But we want you to be comfortable, and if you’ve ever met the groom, you know there are no standards here. Wear what makes you feel good.
What airport should I fly into?
Both Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) are about a 35-minute drive from the hotel where we’ve blocked rooms.
Do you have any hotel accommodations?
Yes, we’ve blocked rooms at Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Lansdale. 〈 Book Here 〉 before October 1st for a discounted rate.
Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?
There won’t be transportation provided from the hotel to the venue before the wedding. We will have a shuttle after the reception back to the hotel for those who wish to attend the afterparty.
There are Uber and Lyfts in the area for those who wish to celebrate responsibly. (We encourage this option.)
Can I bring a guest?
If your invitation says guest then yes.
Is your wedding Halloween themed
No, it isn’t, but it might be funny if you showed up in a costume. We’re hosting this shindig on October 30 because it celebrates two years in our home.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! Please indicate the # of children in your RSVP. However, we are not providing any specific kid-related entertainment or menu. Sorry.
What will the weather be like?
Pennsylvania is a fun place. October weather can range anywhere from 30 to 80 degrees. Our reception tent will have walls and heaters if it’s forecasted to be a chilly day so don’t grab your parka just yet.
Will there be food for those with special diets?
Yes, we’ll have food available for vegans, vegetarians and those who are gluten-free. Please let us know if you have a need outside of these options.
Where are you registered?
If you’d wish to honor us with a gift we’re registered on Blueprint.
If I come into town early, what should I do?
We’re a 45-minute to 1-hour drive to center city Philadelphia. History buff? Check out the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall or Besty Ross House.
If you’re bringing kiddos, we love the Please Touch Museum, Adventure Aquarium and Candytopia.
Need to relax? Schedule a massage at Body Serene Day Spa or get your nails done at Lush.
If you’d like to stay closer to our house but still walk around and shop, eat or drink, then check out Phoenixville (where we used to live before buying our house).
If I come into town early, where should I eat?
Our favorite local spots for dinner are Butcher and the Barkeep, The Burger Shop Han Dynasty and Bella Fiona. If brunch or breakfast is more your speed, try Sammy’s Bullfrog Cafe or Well Fed. For a drink, check out Vintner’s Table, Molly Maguire’s, Blueprint Brewing Co. and Bluebird Distillery.
